Zenataos is offered for sale. At $95k she represents good
value for an energetic new owner, couple or family. The hulls
are 9mm ply with a 2 x1" stringer every six inches hull
and deck. The bottom of the hulls has12 oz of biax below the
waterline and 6oz above. The entire boat is epoxy coated and
in good condition. There are two double cabins and one single
in the port hull and one owners cabin in the starboard hull.
Up forward in the stbd hull is a shower toilet with a auto san
chlorinating system and 80litre holding tank. This area is serviced
by a 140litre fresh water tank (plastic). The centre pod is polycor
and epoxy and has a galley, 3 burner smev stove, double sink,
waeco upright fridge, food pantry and storage, two dinette tables,
tv , video,radio, tape player, nav area. "Zen"
is powered by a pair of 9.9hp 4 stroke Yamaha outboards. She
has ample solar panels, a wind generator and plenty of battery
power. There are fenders lines and inflatable dinghies with motors.
The sail plan consists of twin headsails on furlers(one to each
bow) an inner staysail and full battened mainsail. There is an
electric anchor winch and chain and anchors to suit a boat this
size, though chain will need updating. I am open to any reasonable
offer around the $95k mark and a phone call or email will get
a frank and honest response. I am 60 and finding it harder to
handle such a large boat, 15 metres x 11metres, and wish to downsize.
I am not interested in a swap.This boat is not everyone's cup
of tea but can do effortless miles and is a great base for a
rebuild to a more conventional cat.
