We are the People that are FREE!

Passage people are those that have been met at anchorages or marinas or beaches or whatever along the way. They are featured perhaps because they are unique and special or because they are not, rather because they are just typical examples but of an extraordinary group. By being cruising boaties, all of these people have stepped off the well trod path and done something exceptional with their lives.

 “ADIOS”

The "Tongue Monster of Muddy Bay" just got back from a swim because PJ forgot to secure the dinghy!
Steve & P.J. Are royalty of the round the bouys club. Look for the fastest multihull in the Whitsundays, and it’s often theirs.
Steve was the FIRST contributor to T.C.P.!

 “REDMOND ROSS”

Graham, Faye (right), and Jenell were caught innocently enjoying a peaceful anchorage, and foolishly invited us aboard their beautiful Fleming 55. Based at Hammo now, Graham drove the Fleming out from W.A. A few years ago to replace the Swan 53 he had formerly.
I’ve got the feeling Graham knows boats!

 “LADY VIRAGO”

The wedding of the year in Townsville. The Sailing Club was the site of the ceremony as everyone converged to wish this very special couple the best. We met them a few years ago when they were caught committing a random act of kindness that saved us some trouble. Later we found that it wasn’t a “one off’, but a normal attitude for these two. Dave is the familiar smiling face at the Marina. June works at the hospital. They live in their boat at the Marina
We wish June & Dave a lifetime of happpiness!!!

Scott, Bob & Jeff were up bright and early for this photo. Cecelia & Mimi were still sleeping off the wine...lightweights! They came from America in a large group that hired several boats (we wondered at the number of accents on the radio). They are members of a virtual (web based) club that organizes sailing adventures all over the world. Brilliant concept!
We think this would make too much sense!
Check out their web site above.
