Built 1988, launched c. 1993, only one previous owner. Centre
cockpit, spacious main saloon, then surprising aft cabin with
queen-size bed. Sleeps up to 6. Very comfortable cruiser, sturdy
but by no means slow. View at Manly (Brisbane).
Well maintained throughout - new mast + rigging 2005, new
engine (Beta 35hp) 2002, under 600 hours use. Full equipment
list available, comprehensive inventory, ready to step on and
cruise.
Hull: Built 1988, not launched till approx. 1993.
Mast and rigging: Masthead sloop, new mast and rigging 2005.
Sails: Hood furling genoa, Ian Short mainsail. Spare genoa, plus
storm jib and trisail. Combined boom cover and lazyjacks - very
easy to drop the main single-handed.
Winches: Seven Barlow winches, three self-tailing.
Engine: Beta Marine BV 1305, 35hp (based on Kubota diesel). New
2002, under 600 hours use. Fuel consumption listed as 3 litres/hour,
recent actual use 1.75 litres/hour. Calorifier fitted for fresh
water heating.
Gearbox: PRM 80, 2:1 reduction, also new 2002. Right-hand prop,
viewed from astern.
Instrumentation: Northstar M84 chartplotter (8.4-inch screen)
- C-map card 2010, can also accept inputs from radar, AIS, sonar,
etc; under warranty until April 2012. Backup Navman Tracker 900
chartplotter - black + white screen. Navman S100 speed + log,
Navman D100 depth sounder. Autohelm ST3000 autopilot. GME Electrophone
VHF radio. Steering compass - Danforth Constellation. Hand-held
compass - Autohelm Personal Compass (electronic).
Emergency Gear: GME MT-400 EPIRB (406 Mhz - registered with AMSA),
plus older 121.5 EPIRB, still working. Zodiac 4-person liferaft
(requires service), Lifesling MOB rescue system, full complement
of lifejackets. Lifelines and harnesses on board. Emergency tiller,
2 electric plus one manual bilge pump.
Anchoring: Maxwell-Nilsson electric anchor winch on foredeck.
Main anchor - Manson (plough) 40lb with 60 metres chain. Back-up
- Danforth 22 with 120ft rope, plus Flook anchor as kedge.
Batteries: New Bosch 31-930 engine-start battery, plus 2x Delkor
Puma 31-900 house batteries. Wired for shore power with trickle-charger.
Dinghy, etc: Zodiac inflatable dinghy, on aft davits. Two outboards
- Johnson 5hp and Suzuki 2hp.
Galley: Roden 'Clipper' stove with 2 burners, oven and grill.
Two compartment eutectic fridge, engine-driven compressor. Hot
and cold water, plus sea-water tap at sink. Full inventory of
crockery, cutlery, utensils, new cookware, etc.
Head: TMC toilet with Sani-loo macerator and treatment unit,
all new 2005. Hot and cold water at shower and handbasin.
Water capacity: Approx. 460 litres.
Diesel capacity: Approx. 165 litres in main tank, 14 litres in
reserve tank.
Other: Assorted tools, spares for all engine filters and belts,
usual assortment of spare shackles and fittings.
